Building for future prosperity

16.03.11 – Bromsgrove advertiser

Work on the first phase of a multi-million pound industrial development at Bromsgrove Technology Park has got underway.

The first stage, the building of 13 business units totalling more than 35,000 square feet and suitable for general industry and storage and distribution, should be completed by summer 2011.

The technology park, located off the A38 at Isidore Road in Aston Fields, is already established as prime location for businesses. The development being undertaken by PxP West Midlands and being built by Benniman Construction Group, is set to add quality business units to the area.

Bromsgrove District Council leader Roger Hollingworth said: "The development of these units will not only attract businesses to the region and fill a gap in the accommodation for smaller businesses in Bromwsgrove, but will also be instrumental in generating more than 200 jobs."

Mark Stapleton, managing director at PxP West Midlands, said " This is the first major development for the partnership and one which will establish the site as a major employment location bringing considerable economic and employment benefits to the area."
