Regeneration partnership PxP West Midlands has started demolition and enabling work at the 23-acre Excelsior Industrial Estate, off Cakemore Road in Blackheath.

PxP West Midlands, a joint venture partnership between Advantage West Midlands (AWM) and investor and developer Langtree, acquired Excelsior Industrial Estate last year and has been working closely with Dudley Council and the police, fire and rescue services to bring about the regeneration  of the site. Half of the 23-acre site is let on rolling short term leases, while the other half has been derelict and severely dilapidated for a number of years.

The demolition and enabling work is currently underway to prepare the vacant half of the site for future development and PxP is working with its design and project team to be in a position to submit an outline planning application for a new mixed-use development.
